HotAir -welcomes – you – on – board – flight – 911 – to – touts’ universities -where else -but-in-USA – please – fasten – your – seatbelts, we-are-ready- to-take-off – what? -don’t – you – know – we – have – two – swimming – pools – and – provide – horse – riding – training – also – conduct – meditation yoga – classes – suit coat blazer ties caps shoes must – we ‘accent-neutralize’ your children’s – speech – so – they – sound – like -yankees – when – they – visit – the – localmalls – in – hordes – and – wear -polo – caps – with – their – bills – turned – sidewards – yeah – they – FightJEE too! This is a reflective piece written (some 5/6 years back or so, for me) on ‘doubt’ by my dear friend, a fine educational philosopher and Ms Guide – K. Rama – a respected colleague of mine and a fantastic Montessori teacher. Of course, this is not a hyperbole.
Let me say that, fantastic teachers are generally very hard to find and then – when you add the mighty Montessori twist to it, oh well…
Elementary age children – really, really love her, for the magic that she manages to weave in the impressionable minds of the children – in the process, enthralling the gawking adults like yours truly too…Of course, my kids benefited immensely from all this magic.
I really miss her & the Montessori Magic these days. *sniff*

Preamble:
The School that I am currently working with, is in an area of Tamilnadu, which is known to be a very violent place for the past so many decades – so much so that, even the police personnel and revenue department staff would like to avoid this tension filled and bottomless despair invoking milieu.
So.
There was way too much of violent and disrespectful behavior by the children (primarily stemming from abominable & pathetic parentage and the vitiated socio-political atmosphere) of the School, with which I was involved rather closely from the fag end of 2010.

கடும் எச்சரிக்கை: வழக்கத்தையும் (~1000 வார்த்தைகள்) விட இது நீளம் அதிகம். சுமார் 1500 வார்த்தைகள். கில்யஸ் பற்றி எழுதிஎழுதி எனக்கு மாளவில்லை. :-(
கில்யஸ் நினைவுகளில் பலவாரங்களாக உழன்று கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். இதனை எழுதச் சுமார் 6 மணி நேரம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். என் நண்பரின் நினைவுக்காக, இதனைக் கூடவா என்னால் செய்திருக்க முடியாது?
அதேபோல – இதனை முழுவதுமாகப் படிக்கப்போவது உங்களில் 30 பேரேயாயினும், உங்களால் இதைக் கூடவா செய்ய முடியாது? ஆகவே, பொறுமையாகப் படிக்கவும்.
… முடியாவிட்டால் இருக்கவேயிருக்கின்றன, நம்முடைய செல்ல ஞானத் தமிழர்களின் சுடச்சுடத் தமிழ்ச் சினிமா விமர்சனங்கள் – அவற்றுக்கு வேறெங்காவது செல்லவும். நன்றி.
