Once in a while, I organize trips to interesting historic / geographical / sciencey kinda of places, for young learners, in association with small schools. This blog-post is one example of what gets organized around these visits – and is posted in the hope that, based on this data, any adult can take a group of kids on a field-trip of pure and tiring joy! (please do read the postscript too! and of course, this post is also only some 1900 words loooong!)

நடைமுறை இஸ்லாமின் மீது அறிவார்ந்த, ஆக்கபூர்வமான விமர்சனங்களை வைக்கும் முஸ்லீம் சான்றோர்கள் சிலரின் (முடிந்தவரை இளைஞர்களின்) கருத்துகளை, மொழி மாற்றம் செய்து, முடிந்தபோதெல்லாம் தொடர்ந்து பதிப்பிப்பதாக ஒரு எண்ணம்; தற்கால முட்டியடி எதிர்வினைவாத இணைய இஸ்லாமியச் சூழலில் இம்மாதிரி மாணிக்கங்கள், சமனத்தன்மை மிக்கவர்கள் – பொதுவெளியில் இப்படிப் பட்டவர்த்தனமாகப் பேசுவது, இயங்குவது என்பவை நடக்கத்தான் செய்கின்றன என்றாலும், அவை அபூர்வமே! ஆகவேதான் எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிறது – இவற்றை, இம்மாதிரிக் குரல்களை முடிந்தவரை முறையாக ஆவணப் படுத்தவேண்டும். (இந்த வரிசையில் முதலாவது; இரண்டாவது இது; ஓடிவந்து உதவ நான்கைந்து அன்பர்கள் முன்வந்துள்ளதால் இது சாத்தியமாகி இருக்கிறது, அவர்களுக்கு என் நன்றி!)
கவலைப் படாதீர்கள்! நான் இசுடாலிர் கட்சியில் ஐக்கியமாகவில்லை. B-)
… முடிந்தால் வாரத்துக்கு ஒரு முறை, நான் இருவரது ட்வீட்களைப் படிக்கும் வழக்கத்தை வைத்திருக்கிறேன். அவர்கள்: பத்ரி சேஷாத்ரி, கல்யாணராமன். விழைவு என்னவென்றால், நான் பொதுவாக மதிப்பவர்கள், சொல்வதை – ஆரவாரமில்லாமல், படாடோபம் இல்லாமல் அமைதியாகச் சமனத்துடன் செய்பவர்கள், ஏதாவது சொன்னால், அவற்றை நான் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும் என்கிற விஷயஞான எழவு விவகாரம்தான். தமிழைக் கூறுபோடும் நல்லுலகில் வேறு எப்படித்தான் நல்ல விஷயங்களைத் தெரிந்துகொள்வதாம்? குழந்தைகளைத் தவிர, வேறு யாருடனும் (முக்கியமான சமவயதினர்கள்!) வெட்டியாகப் பேசிப்பழகுவதை வெறுத்து ஒதுக்கும் மனப்பிறழ்வுவேறு எனக்கு! :-( Read the rest of this entry »
