நடைமுறை இஸ்லாமின் மீது அறிவார்ந்த, ஆக்கபூர்வமான விமர்சனங்களை வைக்கும் முஸ்லீம் சான்றோர்கள் சிலரின் (முடிந்தவரை இளைஞர்களின்) கருத்துகளை, மொழி மாற்றம் செய்து, முடிந்தபோதெல்லாம் தொடர்ந்து பதிப்பிப்பதாக ஒரு எண்ணம்; தற்கால முட்டியடி எதிர்வினைவாத இணைய இஸ்லாமியச் சூழலில் இம்மாதிரி மாணிக்கங்கள், சமனத்தன்மை மிக்கவர்கள் – பொதுவெளியில் இப்படிப் பட்டவர்த்தனமாகப் பேசுவது, இயங்குவது என்பவை நடக்கத்தான் செய்கின்றன என்றாலும், அவை அபூர்வமே! ஆகவேதான் எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிறது – இவற்றை, இம்மாதிரிக் குரல்களை முடிந்தவரை முறையாக ஆவணப் படுத்தவேண்டும். (இந்த வரிசையில் முதலாவது; இரண்டாவது இது; ஓடிவந்து உதவ நான்கைந்து அன்பர்கள் முன்வந்துள்ளதால் இது சாத்தியமாகி இருக்கிறது, அவர்களுக்கு என் நன்றி!)
இவ்விஷயம் தொடர்பாக, எனக்கு நன்கு அறிமுகமாயுள்ள இரண்டு புத்திசாலி (தமிழ் முஸ்லீம்) இளைஞர்களையும் அணுகினேன்; இருவருமே உதட்டைப் பிதுக்கிவிட்டார்கள், இத்தனைக்கும் எனக்கு ‘ஒத்திசைவு’ தளத்தில் போட்டு ஐம்பதுபேர் படிக்க, உங்கள் கட்டுரையைக் கொடுங்கள் எனக் கேட்கவில்லை – அந்த ‘தமிழ் ஹிந்து’ அல்லது ‘தினமணி’ போன்ற தினசரிகளுக்கு அனுப்பினாலும் பரவாயில்லை – ஆனால் ‘அவசியம் எழுதவும்’ எனத்தான் கோரிக்கை விடுத்தேன். அவர்களுடைய பிரச்சினை – ‘எங்களுக்குப் பரவாயில்லை, ஆனால் ஜமாத்திடமிருந்து எங்கள் குடும்பங்களுக்குப் பிரச்சினை வரும்!’
எனக்குத் தெரிந்த அளவில், அப்படியொரு ஒரு மோசமான கருத்துச் சுதந்திரப் பிரச்சினை தமிழக முஸ்லீம்களுக்கு இருக்கிறதா எனச் சரியாக அனுமானிக்க முடியவில்லை; ஆகவே அவர்களிடம் திரும்பக் கேட்டேன். ஒருவர் மறுபடியும் மறுத்தார் – இன்னொருவர் அம்பேல். அவர்களுடனான நல்லுறவை, இப்படி அளவுக்குமீறி அழுத்தம் கொடுத்துச் சிதைப்பதும் எனக்குச் சரியாகப் படவில்லை. ஆனால் நான் முஸ்லீம் அல்லன் – ஆகவே அவர்களுடைய தனிப்பட்ட சிக்கல்களைப் பற்றி, பாவம், நான் எழுதுவது சரியல்ல, என்னால் அவர்கள் சமூகத்தின் எதிர்மறைக்காரர்களின் வீரியத்தைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது என்றுதான் தோன்றுகிறது.

…இந்தத் தாக்குதல்களுக்குப் பின், இவை மிகச் சிறிய பிறழ்வடைந்த குழுவினராலேயே செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதை அழுத்தந்திருத்தமாகக் கூறிய முஸ்லீம்கள் அல்லாத அனைவருக்கும் நன்றி கூற விரும்புகிறேன்.
ஒரு பயங்கரவாதியின் நோக்கம் வெறுப்பையும் முரண்பாடுகளையும் விதைப்பதுதான். அவற்றிற்குச் செவி கொடுக்காதிருப்பதன் மூலம் நீங்கள் அவர்களின் திட்டங்களை தோல்வியடையச் செய்கிறீர்கள்.
ஆனால் ஒரு முஸ்லீமாக, இது நம்முடன் தொடர்பில்லாதது என்று இத்தனை அவசரத்தில் நாம் உறுதிப்படுத்தியிருக்கக் கூடாது என்னும் என் விருப்பத்தையும் இங்கு கூற விரும்புகிறேன்.
நான் தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் யாரையும் கொலை செய்ததில்லையானாலும், என் நண்பர்களோ உறவினர்களோ வன்முறையின் பக்கம் திரும்பியதில்லை என்றாலும், தீவிரவாதம், இஸ்லாமுடன் தொடர்புப்படுத்தத் தேவையான அனைத்தையும் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. நல்லெண்ணத்துடன் கூடிய சகிப்புத்தன்மையுடன் நாமிருக்கவேண்டும் எனும் பெயரில் இதனை அணுகாமல் இருப்பது, இந்தப் பிரச்சினையை மேலும் சிக்கலாக்குகிறது.
ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் [இஸ்லாமிக்ஸ்டேட்] ஒரு முஸ்லீம் அமைப்பு. அது இஸ்லாமியப் பிரச்சினை. மிகத் தெளிவாக மீண்டும் கூறுகிறேன். ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் ஒரு முஸ்லீம் அமைப்பு. அது இஸ்லாமின் இதயத்தில் உருவாகியிருக்கும் புற்று நோய். முஸ்லீம்கள் இந்தப்பிரச்சினையை நேரிடையாக எதிர் கொள்ளாதவரை, அது அகன்று விடாது.
- ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் பயங்கரவாதிகள் தாக்குதலின்போது ‘அல்லாஹூ அக்பர்’ என்று முழங்குகிறார்கள்.
- அந்த அமைப்பில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டவர்கள், தங்கள் பாலியல் வன்முறைகளையும் பெண்களை அடிமைப்படுத்துவதையும் நியாயப்படுத்த குரானின் வசனங்களை மேற்கோள் காட்டுகிறார்கள்.
- தொல்பொருளாராய்ச்சியாளர்களையும் ஒரினச் சேர்க்கையாளர்களையும் இஸ்லாம் மதத்துக்கு மாற எதிர்ப்பு தெரிவிப்பவர்களையும் கடவுள் நிந்தனையாளர்கள் என்று கூறி, ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் பயங்கரவாதிகள் கொல்கிறார்கள்.
ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் ஒரு முஸ்லீம் அமைப்பு. அவர்கள் இஸ்லாமின் பெயரால் கொலை புரிகிறார்கள்.

ஏனெனில் ஈராக், சிரியா, ஜோர்டான் போன்ற நாடுகளில், அமெரிக்க ராணுவத்தை விட அதிகமான முஸ்லீம்களை இவர்கள்தான் கொன்று குவித்திருக்கிறார்கள். இஸ்லாமின் பெயருக்கும் பெருமைக்கும், வேறு எந்த மேற்கத்திய நாடுகளை விடவும் அவர்களே அதிகத் தீங்கு செய்திருக்கிறார்கள். அமெரிக்கா, இஸ்ரேல், ஃபிரான்ஸ் ஜெர்மனி, ருஷ்யா போன்ற நாடுகள் இஸ்லாமுக்கு எதிரிகள் இல்லை. ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் அமைப்புதான் இஸ்லாமின் மிகப்பெரிய எதிரி!
நான், என் வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும், மதச்சார்பின்மையின் முக்கியத்துவத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து நம்பிவந்திருக்கிறேன். ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் அந்த நம்பிக்கை மேலும் உறுதிப்பட்டுக் கொண்டே வருகிறது. மதம் என்பது, தேசத்தை ஆள்வதற்கான ஒன்றல்ல! இது எந்த மதத்துக்கும் தேசத்துக்கும் பொருந்தும்.
ஐஎஸ்ஐஎஸ் என்பது அமெரிக்கா அல்லது பிரிட்டன் அல்லது ஃப்ரான்ஸ் போன்ற நாடுகளின் பிரச்சினை இல்லை. சிரியா அல்லது ஈராக்கின் பிரிச்சினையும் இல்லை.
அது முஸ்லீம்களின் பிரச்சினை. இதை உங்களால் ஒப்புக் கொள்ள முடியாவிட்டால் நீங்கள் உண்மையிலேயே ஒரு நல்ல முஸ்லீமும் இல்லை.

The real reason behind the Wahhabism is the BOOK, there is no denial about it.
There are great differences between the Quranic interpretations of Ibadi Teachings vs Sunnite Teachings.
The Ibadi movement is said to have been founded 20 years after the death of the Muslim prophet Muhammad, predating both the Sunni and Shia denominations. It is considered to be one of both moderation and tolerance toward other views and religions.
Ibadi’s giving the abstract/lucid/generic meaning to the Quranic verses while the Sunni’s giving the black & white/ literal meaning that causes the issue (in fact, they are not giving, they couldn’t understand better than that is the right word, if I put it bluntly).
For example, the “Seeing Allah” concept in Quran is interpreted as below:
Ibid: The Ibadism maintain that Allah is not to be seen either in this World or in the World to Come. As for the Quranic verses which give the impression that Allah shall be seen, the “gazing” was explained as waiting the permission from their Lord to enter Paradise.
Sunni: The Sunnites maintain that the believers will see their Lord on the Day of Resurrection: “Upon that day some faces shall be radiant, gazing upon their Lord.” (75:22-3) and the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: “You will see your Lord as you see the full moon; nothing will impair your view of Him; And if you are able to keep the dawn prayers and the midafternoon prayers, do it.”
