How do/did USA diplomats view our beloved Rahul Gandhi (from primary sources)

But then, isn’t Rahul the ONE, the Messiah of the mAsses and the Prophet of dirty Profits – who can repair and cure the ills of even HELICOPTERS by boundless love, hugs, anger management, free advice, vipassana and, um – meditating on the attributes of – wait, don’t bloody jump the gun – a Mango?
Oh well.
Even Saeed Naqui, a famous & ‘well connected’ Lutyens Journalist (father of the second generation Lutyenswali, a constant Congress/Islamist apologist and famous socialite of the ‘Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb’ fame, Sabah Naqui) had made very interesting (=scathing) observations on the surreality that is our beloved Rahul Gandhi. He has gone on record saying all the right wrong things about Rahul – while chatting with a USA diplomat who has promptly recorded it…
OK. This is a capture of a series of tweets – culled from a few of the wikileaks releases, along with my annotations. These releases were confidential/secret internal documentations that were filed by the New Delhi embassy diplomats of USA. They are very realistic & on the dot.

The press is even now continuing with the ‘young blood’ narrative, though!
These jokers, many of them at least, feel that because he has a dimple, and goofs up enormously all the time and has FAILED in ‘Developmental Economics’ in his MPhil – he has the RIGHT to lead Bharat, and manage the nation’s economy! OMG!
Now, on to the beautiful observations of Saeed Naqui about our beloved Rahul, O Rahowl!
“…it is increasingly common knowledge that Rahul suffers from “personality problems” of an emotional or psychological nature that are severe enough to prevent him from functioning as PM” – says Saeed Saheb!
Says, he ‘lost his faith‘ in Rahul.
Actually things have become worse! I think, the whole nation has lost faith in this inveterate liar.
“Rahul has failed as an MP” “has done nothing for UP except to make pro-forma appearances in Amethi, & has ‘made no impression on the people of the state.’”
That was in 2005. Has ANYTHING changed till date?
Saeed Saheb was/is prescient. “Rahul will never become Prime Minister“
“Priyanka… more intelligent and savvy – Gandhi dynastic politics had no future – Rajiv would never have won re-election had he not been assassinated…
…Rahul is far below even his father in political ability.”
Well, well! This is really hard-hitting. Even Rajiv is not spared. Lovely.
But, the USA diplomats can also see the power of propaganda that could help Rahul.
In the mean time, the Lutyenswali Grand Ma’am Saba Naqui tweeted about the “new low of abusing Rajiv who is long gone.”
But then her OWN Father did the same thing, poor thing. She knows naught what she is doing!

After reading Midnight’s Furies, I come to think of Jinnah was a fallen man. During the 1930’s he completely changed. 1946 – 48வரை நடந்த ரத்தக்களரிக்கு ஜின்னாவே காரணம்.

So sweet of you, Velmurugan – you not only went ahead and bought the book – but also read it. I am so glad. :-)
A lot of ‘his fall’ had to do with the facts that 1) His sister who was a rabid islamist was a significant influencer 2) He felt he was being neglected because the thought other younger people like Jawahar were being promoted 3) The unfortunate decision of Gandhi to support the Islamist Caliphate (via the Khilafat movement) gave him the idea that his path to power was totally achievable thru the constituency of muslims 4) The bending-over-backwards support given to him by the Brits.
YES. Jinnah was very, very significantly responsible for the bloodshed. But, the seeds for such things are there in the rabid (and valid) interpretations of islam.

This is the first time I hear that she was Islamist (படிக்க வேண்டியது நிறைய இருக்கிறது, நான் வெறும் நுனிப்புல் மேய்ந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறேன் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்).
ஆனால் அவர் மிக கொடுமையாகத்தான் கொல்லப்பட்டதாக படித்தேன். I think she was beheaded (Rumored) on behalf of Ayub Khan. If it so then I guess It was poetic justice.
