The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) is organising a 2-day National Workshop/ “Chintan Shivir” to bring together key stakeholders from State Governments, NGOs and the private sector to deliberate on critical issues in the education sector. The workshop will be organised on 6th-7th November 2017, in New Delhi.

The Workshop will focus on 5 key themes:

1. Digital Education
2. Physical Education
3. Value Education
4. Life Skills Education
5. Experiential Learning

At the end of the workshop, the participants will present an actionable roadmap on the above-mentioned thematic areas.  

Objective of the workshop
Over the course of these 2 days, 150 experts will be divided into 5 groups to discuss recommendations and brainstorm on future course. The participants will be expected to produce an actionable roadmap which will then be presented to Hon’be Minister of Human Resource Development. The workshop will also see participation of senior functionaries from Ministry of Human Resource Development (and other Central Institutions), State governments and other key stakeholders.
