இதனைப் படிக்கப்போகும் ஓரு சிலருக்கு இந்த விண்ணப்பம் (= SkyBread ©எஸ்.ரா; ஆனால் மன்னிக்கவும், இது விண்ஆப்பம் அல்ல – இதனை அவர் எப்படிப் பெயர்த்துத் தள்ளுவார் என்பதை நினைத்தாலே எனக்கு ஏடாகூடமாகக் கதிகலங்குகிறது! அது SkyAngloIndian என விரியுமோ என்ன எழவோ!).

(குறைந்த பட்சம் – அந்த எழவெடுத்த அமெரிக்க ஸிலிக்கன்வேலி பகுதியில் வசிக்கும், அமெரிக்கத் தேர்தல் தொடர்பாக உட்கார்ந்த இடத்திலிருந்தே நக்கல் கருத்துகளை உதிர்க்கவேண்டிய ஜனநாயகத்தேவை அவசியம் இருந்தாலும் வேலைவெட்டியற்றுத் தொடர்ந்து இந்த ஒத்திசைவுக்கு வரும் பாவப்பட்ட அந்த  மூன்று நண்பர்களுக்காவது இந்த விண்ணப்பம்! டேய் பசங்களா –  வங்கிக் கணக்கில், மாதாமாதம் ஏறிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் டாலர்களை சும்மாச்சும்மா எண்ணிக்கொண்டே, அதேசமயம் சீப் ஃளைட்டுகளுக்காக, ‘டீல்’களுக்காக ஏங்கிக் கொண்டே இருக்காமல் – பெண்பிள்ளை வளர்ந்துகொண்டிருப்பதால் (ஆகவே ‘வேர்களைத் தேடுவதாக’ பாவலா பண்ணிக்கொண்டு) இந்தியாவுக்குக் கண்டிப்பாக அடுத்த வருடம் மூட்டையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு போய்ச் சேர்ந்தேயாகவேண்டும் என வெட்டிக் கனவு கண்டுகொண்டிருக்காமல்  – உருப்படியான அமெரிக்கக் காரியங்களுக்கும் உதவி பண்ணுங்கடா. ங்கொம்மாள… பெருஸ்ஸா க்ரீன்கார்டும் குடியுரிமையும் வாங்கிக்கினுதானாடா அமெரிக்காவ முன்னேத்தப் போற்றீங்க? போக்கத்தவனுங்களா…)
