ரீபஸ் வகையறா புதிர்கள் சுவையானவை என்றால், ரீபஸ் வகை பதில்கள் அதீதமாகப் புளகாங்கிதம் (எனக்குக்) கொடுப்பவைதாம்!
முடிந்தால் ரசிக்கவும். முடியாவிட்டால் பெரிய விஷயம் இல்லை என லூஸ்லவுடவும்.

I realized it right after I published the blog (got carried away with rebus nonsense) – but was waiting for someone to respond.
Will post a followup acknowledging my mistake and close it.

I worked it out like below,
(5-r)^2 = (3+r)^2 + r2 –> r^2+16r-16 = 0 –> To be honest, I used the internet to solve this quadratic equation ( forgot the formula).
r = 4√5 -8 (~0.944)
So,
Pix( 0.944)^2 = 2.80

You did the right thing. Much appreciated. Am merely sheepish, *sheesh* that’s all. Probably this has happened at this significant level for the first time on the blog, galling.
Be that as it may – my take is that, it is okay to commit mistakes and learn from them. But there is no need for fudging. I will openly admit to my mistakes and correct myself.
One always learns, but from now onwards, I should always double check every damn thing – every damn thing. every damn time. (childish over-enthusiasm needs to be checked of course!)
(I was so thrilled about the yellowbag-manjap-pai connection (in our dear tamil) that I didn’t do the basic thing – double checking the bleddy basics.)
