In the course of one’s business (=non-business) one comes across (or bumps into) various kinds of people.

They fall literally into various types, Sometimes they are cunning jackals (=Dravidians & assorted scum types including Communists & CONgressis), naïve jackasses (=Tamil Supremacists/Exceptionalists), criminal jokers/jokerinas (eg: Clown Surya & his spouse <insert your favs here!>), sweet, respectable, honest but unwashed masses (IQ < 70, say – with average IQ being, say 100)…

…And then there are positive DOERs – who push for progress, development, science, technology etc – within which many also batting for giving a well-deserved & genuine respect to traditions & Bharatiyata.

Of course, I have an unabashed & almost a kneejerk/automatic respect & adoration for these brilliant doer d00ds & d00dettes.

However, I must also admit that, in the context of Bharat & most especially Tamilnadu (familiarity bias?) – unfortunately my aforementioned respect is not automatic.

That is, if a particular individual is a product of #DravidianModel ‘education’ (hic), from his/her/its mere credentials or paper certificates – say, like a PhD (Anna University), literally nothing can be assumed of their claimed capabilities and skills – because 95%+ such folks are illustrious duds, if not scheming gamers. So, one has to painstakingly verify and validate each of those claims/claimants.

Of course, it is a sad state of affairs, but it is a fact.

Anyway, so much for my endless jeremiad. :-(

A few days ago, bumped into 2 young & real Engineers (25y, 30y) from Mysuru, who exhibited incredible knowledge, resourcefulness, power, determination, persistence & enormous cluefulness; heroes.😍

If only we at Bharat, could scale-up the availability & spread of such Engineers & good/solid Researchers…

Will I see such a thing unfolding in my life-time?

But, is it not true that, I bump into many such stellar individuals even within the insignificantly small readership of this blog?

OTOH, can I generalize based on the above and on an additional samples of exactly TWO, that I could identify in the past 1.5 months?

(something tells me YES. it may be because I would like to style myself as a diehard optimist… let us see…)
